We met Paola Pestana on Chatsworth Road in Clapton. A singer/ songwriter originally from Venezuela, we loved her cool, relaxed look of taupe t-shirt, grey skinny distressed jeans and ankle boots with a choker.
We asked her a few questions about her style…
How long did it take you to get ready this morning? I actually had to get ready when I arrived as I was running kind of late this morning but it took me about 15 minutes in total.
Where do you get your style inspiration from? Just things I like really. I don’t really plan too much or overthink it. On Instagram my favourite accounts are @nastygal and @britishvogue though.
How would you describe your style? Quite street I suppose. I do love backless pieces or like to incorporate something that draws attention to my neck and collarbone. That’s my signature look, so I wear chokers or other pieces of jewellery or clothes that do this.
Which piece in your wardrobe do you wear the most? My leather jacket mostly but I also have a bra with interesting panels that look great when on show above a top so I like wearing that too.
What’s your top style tip? Find a personal identifiable style that will make you have a unique presence.
